The Deputy Minister for Academic Affairs of the Ministry of Higher Education visited the Afghan International Islamic University.
Sheikh al-Hadith Zia-ur-Rahman Madani, Deputy Minister for Academic Affairs of the Ministry of Higher Education, accompanied by his delegation, paid an official visit to the Afghan International Islamic University. During the visit, he held a consultative meeting with the university’s leadership and academic staff.
In the meeting, Sheikh Zia-ur-Rahman Madani expressed his satisfaction with the current state of the university. Addressing the faculty members, he stated that teachers constitute the backbone of society. He emphasized that in an academic institution where numerous Master’s and PhD programs are actively offered, the responsibility of faculty members becomes even greater. He urged the professors to carry out their duties with full professionalism, academic integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Furthermore, the Deputy Minister listened to the challenges presented by the university’s leadership and assured them that the necessary measures would be taken to address these issues.
This visit is considered a constructive and significant step toward strengthening academic coordination between the Ministry of Higher Education and the Afghan International Islamic University, resolving existing challenges, and enhancing the quality of higher education.
