Scientific Seminar on the Causes and Solutions of Air Pollution Held

Today, Monday, corresponding to 15 Jadi 1404 (Solar Hijri), a scientific seminar entitled “Causes and Solutions of Air Pollution” was organized by the Vice Chancellery for Academic Affairs of the Afghan International Islamic University.

The seminar was held in the university’s conference hall with the participation of faculty deans, lecturers, and administrative and service staff. At the beginning of the program, Associate Professor Dr. Abdul Wahid Liaqat, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, welcomed the participants and delivered a valuable speech on the negative impacts of air pollution and ways to prevent it.

Subsequently, Associate Professor Dr. Hamidullah Younasi, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, presented his scientific presentation under the same title. In his presentation, he thoroughly examined the main causes of air pollution, provided a scientific analysis, and discussed effective solutions in detail.

At the end of the program, a question-and-answer session was held during which participants raised their questions, and Dr. Younasi provided comprehensive and satisfactory responses.

It is worth mentioning that the Afghan International Islamic University has previously published various seminars and announcements aimed at raising environmental awareness and preventing air pollution, and it will continue its scientific and awareness-raising efforts in the future.
