75% of the Road Reconstruction Work at the Afghan International Islamic University Completed

The reconstruction work of internal roads and sidewalks at the Afghan International Islamic University, which began some time ago under the Ministry of Higher Education with a budget of over 20 million Afghanis, has now reached 75% completion.

According to Wafiullah Ebrat, Head of Procurement and Services under the Financial and Administrative Deputy Office of the University, the road and sidewalk reconstruction project — approximately 2.5 kilometers in length — is being implemented by Akbar Nusrat Construction Company with good quality and proper organization. He added that the remaining work of this project will soon be completed and handed over for use.

He further stated that upon completion of this project, in addition to enhancing the beauty of the campus environment, it will also provide significant improvements in transportation facilities.

It is worth mentioning that alongside this project, a water well and a poultry research farm are also being established within the premises of the Afghan International Islamic University for future use.
