A One-Day Seminar Held on Teaching Methods, Conducting Research, and Principles of Writing Academic Theses and Articles.
At the initiative of the Coordination Office under the Student Affairs Vice-Chancellorship of the Afghan International Islamic University, a one-day seminar was held for the students of the Afghan International Islamic University and other central universities on “Teaching Methods, Con-ducting Research, and Principles of Writing Academic Theses and Articles,” in the presence of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs, Muhammad Ashraf Ghairat, and faculty members of the Faculty of Engineering.
At the beginning of the seminar, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs, Muhammad Ashraf Ghairat, welcomed the participants and spoke about the importance of academic research. He emphasized that scientific and standard research plays a vital role in the development of knowledge and in enhancing students’ academic capabilities.
In this seminar, comprehensive information on research introduction, data collection and evaluation, searching in academic databases, and princi-ples of writing academic theses and articles was presented by Professor Dr. Iftikhar Hussain, a faculty member of the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Afghan International Islamic University.
It is worth mentioning that the Afghan International Islamic University continuously organizes informational and academic seminars in order to enhance the academic capabilities of its students and strengthen research activities, so that students can conduct their academic research in a standardized and effective manner.
