Holy Qur’an Translation and Tafsir Classes Launched for Administrative and Service Staff.
On the occasion of the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Directorate of Da’wah and Guidance at the Afghan International Islamic University has initiated a series of Qur’an translation and Tafsir (exegesis) classes for the university’s administrative and service staff.
This series of translation and Tafsir lessons is being conducted at the University Mosque under the guidance of the Directorate of Da’wah and Guidance of the Ministry of Higher Education. During the holy month of Ramadan, Surah An-Nisa, Surah An-Nur, and Surah Al-Ahzab will be translated and explained by Mawlawi Mohammad Tayyib Haqqani, preacher of the Directorate of Da’wah and Guidance.
Officials of the Directorate stated that strengthening religious and reformative activities is among their fundamental objectives. They further emphasized that, alongside enhancing the professional capacities of staff members, the administration is committed to paying special attention to their religious, moral, and spiritual development in order to foster a healthy and committed working environment based on Islamic values.
The Qur’an translation and Tafsir sessions will be held regularly throughout the blessed month of Ramadan, every day after the Dhuhr prayer, for one hour.
It is worth mentioning that the recitation of the complete Qur’an (Khatm al-Qur’an) during the Taraweeh prayers has also commenced simultaneously at the Afghan International Islamic University.
