Academic and Training Seminar on the Introduction to the DARP System Held.
An academic and training seminar entitled “Introduction to the DARP System” was held for the heads of departments of various faculties at Afghan International Islamic University (AIIU) to enhance their professional capacity and familiarize them with the system.
The seminar was organized by the Ministry of Higher Education in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. Participants included the Academic Vice-Chancellor of AIIU, the Director General of Electronic Governance at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, a delegation from the Information Technology Directorate of the Ministry of Higher Education, and heads of departments from various faculties of the university.
At the beginning of the seminar, AIIU Academic Vice-Chancellor, Associate Professor Mawlawi Ehsanullah Naseh, welcomed the delegations from both ministries and the participants. He also expressed his appreciation for their continued efforts and cooperation in supporting universities in the academic field.
Subsequently, the Director General of Electronic Governance at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Assistant Professor Abdul Rahman Safi, spoke about the importance and necessity of the system. He emphasized the need to facilitate the use of modern technologies and similar systems to ensure that government affairs are conducted more efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with established standards, in line with the demands of the modern era.
The seminar was delivered by Abu Bakr Mashal, a representative of the Recruitment and Academic Promotions Directorate of the Ministry of Higher Education. The session covered a comprehensive introduction to the DARP system, the process of creating faculty members’ accounts, storing faculty members’ information through department accounts, and procedures related to faculty appointments, promotions, advancements, dismissals, resignations, transfer requests, and other related matters within the system.
