On Wednesday, corresponding to 24th of Jadi, 1404 Hijri Shamsi, under the supervision of the Vice-Chancellorship for Academic Affairs of the Afghan International Islamic University, the General Directorate of Capacity Building organized a one-day scientific workshop titled “Introduction to Bloom’s Taxonomy and Its Application in Scientific and Academic Affairs.”
The workshop began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an and was attended by members of the university leadership, internal and external lecturers, department heads, and teaching managers of the faculties.
The opening remarks were delivered by the Deputy for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Dr. Abdul Wahid Liaqat, who spoke about effective teaching methods, the proper transmission of knowledge, and the importance of such academic programs.
Subsequently, Professor Dr. Iftikhar Hussain presented a comprehensive academic presentation on Bloom’s Taxonomy and its application. He shared important guidelines and recommendations for standardizing teaching methods and described the teaching process at the Afghan International Islamic University as being aligned with international standards.
In the final part of the workshop, participants raised their questions with the presenting professor, who provided satisfactory answers. The workshop concluded with a closing prayer led by the Deputy for Student Affairs, Sheikh Abdul Malik Niazi.
